Wikofix-FBA Outside Foil Tape

Connecting tape for installation of exterior windows in compliance with SIA 331, open to vapour diffusion, self-adhesive on the edge and can be plastered over

Stretchable window tape is self-adhesive around the edges and is easy to install with film adhesive. Wikofix-FBA is suitable for all types of window frames:

• for sealing against wind and rain on the outside of the window, between the window frame and the brickwork
• for assembly work; ideal for fulfilling standard SIA 331 (CH) or the current RAL installation guidelines (DE) and DIN 4108-7
• especially suitable for new building, window manufacture, doors, in the field of insulation, metal construction, timber frame construction, plasterers

Product benefits:

• one-sided self-adhesive fastening strip; enables simple, completely concealed installation of the window tape on all types of window frames (timber, PVC and metal windows as well as combinations of these)
• the adhesive strip can be removed within the first few minutes to re-adjust.; only after approx. 10 - 20 min does the adhesive
• good elasticity / directional flexibility ensures absorption of structural movements
• guarantees constant tightness of the connection joints
• good moisture resistance
• guarantees a structurally correct gradient of the SD value (inside tighter than outside) without allowing moisture to penetrate from the outside of the joint
